Rita Calabrese

Rita Calabrese (PhD) is an Associate Professor in English Language and Linguistics at the University of Salerno, where she teaches. She is the author of several monographs, including Insights into the Lexicon-Syntax Interface in Italian Learners. (2008) and essays on the use of corpora for teaching purposes (Corpus Linguistics and English as a foreign language, 2004). In 2015 she co-edited Variation and Change in Postcolonial Contexts (with J. Chambers and G. Leitner). She is currently working on a diachronic corpus of Indian English including data from the years between 1839 and 2011.
